I started counselling couples for Marriage Guidance Scotland (now called Couple Counselling Scotland) in 1980 and have continued working with couples throughout my counselling career. I am a BACP Senior Registered Counsellor and have been BACP Accredited since 1989. My theoretical understanding of couple work has developed considerably over the years and is now very different from the original “Relate style” training. I have developed a Person Centred Approach to couple work that is both distinctive & effective.
