I have been counselling couples for thirty years. The process I use is basically one of exploration, leading to greater understanding and better communication, which often leads naturally to change (changed feelings, ideas, views, actions, life pathways, etc). At all times the goals for action come from the partners themselves.

My qualifications are in:

• Marital and Couple Counselling (Relate)
• Psychosexual psychotherapy (British Assn for Sexual & Relationship Psychotherapy)
• Infertility Counselling (The London Hospital)

You may wonder if you can be seen on your own without your partner. The answer is yes although it is necessary for both partners to be involved in specific sex therapy programmes.
