I have been counselling for 15 years and have a wide range of experience which covers many areas such as confidence/esteem issues, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, phobias, addictions, eating disorders, stress/anxiety, post-traumatic stress, stress in the workplace, childhood abuse, adoption and relationship issues. I also use hypnotherapy when appropriate. Much of my work now is with couples and I have been involved in this area for the past five years.

As well as counselling others I am an experienced lecturer and trainer with particular experience in the fields of adult learning, dyslexia, health psychology, personality and abnormal psychology/psychopathology though as a chartered psychologist my special area is Counselling Psychology. My main research was in Student Mental Health.

My experience has been with all ages (including children) and backgrounds as well as with different cultures/minority groups so I have an understanding of the particular difficulties which can arise in relation to cultural issues.

I counsel in Glasgow though clients also come from a wide radius outwith it.
