Frances trained as a couple counsellor with Couple Counselling Scotland in 1985. Since then she has worked part-time for a couple counselling agency as a counsellor and supervisor. She also has her own private practice working with couples and individuals with a wide range of relationship difficulties. Her approach is eclectic, using a person centred, cognitive behavioural approach within a psychodynamic framework She has undertaken a continuous programme of professional training and development.

She is based in the centre of Edinburgh and her current fee is £35 per hour.
