I've been working as an integrative psychotherapist for nearly 20 years. I trained in individual psychotherapy with Tricia Scott and, more recently in couple work with The Centre for Gender Psychology/Re.Vision. I see couples at home in East Grinstead and in London at The Crypt Psychotherapy Centre in Bethnal Green.

In my work with couples I take a positive view of relationships. When you're in the middle of them, it's hard to see relationship difficulties as anything other than negative. However, sometimes problems in a relationship can serve the purpose of jolting it out of its familiar pattern and allowing it to grow. Couple counselling provides an opportunity for a couple to explore their problems in a supportive atmosphere. My role is to create and manage the "safe space" in which these issues can be discussed and to support the couple in moving towards a mutual understanding and the development of their relationship.

I work in London on Mondays and in East Grinstead on Tuesdays and Fridays. I normally see couples either weekly or fortnightly and my fee is £50 for an hour's session.
