Relationship
Counsellor
In
his book "Soul Mates" Thomas Moore reminds us that
pain and difficulty do not necessarily mean that there is
something inherently wrong with a relationship; on the contrary,
relationship troubles may be a challenging invitation into
intimacy.
If
you are
- ready
to walk out
- at
a point where you have no idea what to do, or
- simply
wanting more from your relationship
You
may contact me on 01293 871938 or jenny@newperspectives.org.uk
I
bring to my work great respect for the dynamics and uniqueness
of each relationship. This approach has been born out of my
work with couples over the past 20 years as well as my own
experience of the joys and struggles of being in a long term
relationship.
I
trained as a counsellor at St John's College (Nottingham)
and the Institute of Pastoral Counselling (Nottingham) and
have undertaken specialist couple counselling training with
Re-vision and the Centre for Gender Psychology (London). With
my husband Arthur I worked as a team couple with Marriage
Encounter for 13 years - in the UK, Far East and USA. I am
also a Prepare/Enrich practitioner.
I
am a Member of the British Association of Counsellors and
Psychotherapists and hold an Advanced Diploma in Pastoral
Counselling, and a Certificate in Contextual Couple Counselling.
Continued professional development and regular supervision
keep me on the ball.
My
practice is in Rusper, within easy reach of Horsham, Crawley
and Dorking.
