Thank you for looking at my profile. My name is Matthew Hughes and I am a fully qualified and experienced Couple and Relationship counsellor. I appreciate that trying to find the right counsellor can be difficult and arranging to meet with a counsellor can be worrying. Below I have described who I am trained to work with and how my counselling might be able to help you. Relationship and couple counselling
Through out a long term relationship we can face many important decisions and cross roads. Sometimes it is difficult to talk about these problems with our partners. Couple counselling can be away of opening up communications again through a clearer understanding of what is really going on for each person. Whether you are able to come with your partner, or alone, whether you are married or single, I will provide you with a safe and confidential place to talk about and explore your difficulties.

How does couple counselling work?
After initial contact by either phone or email we will arrange to meet for a session together. If after this, you both feel that counselling could be helpful, we can then agree a regular weekly time and our session will be available to you to you for as long as you find them helpful.

• Westminster Pastoral Foundation
• Post Graduate Diploma In Couple Therapy and Counselling 2007-2011
• The Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships

• Member of The British Association of Couple Counsellors and Psychotherapists
• Member of The College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.

Experience
Nine years of experience working with both individuals and couples.
